When topical skincare is not enough, there are a vast array of medical grade devices that can be used to heal the skin or even boost its own natural healing processes. No serum, ointment, cream, or supplement can quite deliver the results as quickly and effectively as a targeted procedure. Many of us have skin woes that have troubled us for years and even decades. This is because we are also developing new damage while trying to recover from old damage. This is why we develop a multifaceted skincare routine that involves remedies for current skin issues, procedures to maintain your results, and skincare products and procedures to prevent future damage.
Our skin rejuvenation procedures include collagen induction therapy using a microneedling pen, dermal remodeling using infrared light and bipolar radiofrequency energies, and laser skin rejuvenation.
Each of our devices offer unique methods of producing collagen and elastin. Some benefit from just one modality and others may need multiple modalities to achieve their desired results. We tailor our recommendations based on your skin assessment. We want to create a routine that is both maintainable and effective.
Skin Rejuvenation Devices
SkinPen®

SkinPen by Crown Aesthetics is FDA-cleared and clinically proven to safely and effectively treat facial acne scars in those ages 22 and up
For optimal results, at least three treatments, spaced 30 days apart, is recommended. Once desired results are achieved, maintenance every six months thereafter is recommended.
Microneedling can be used on all skin types and varied skin conditions as its primary effect is to induce collagen remodeling. We can all benefit from increased collagen remodeling! It is recommended to space out treatments at least by 4-6 weeks to allow for an adequate cycle of collagen remodeling and healing of the skin between sessions.

eTwo
eTwo Sublative™ – improved tone & texture eTwo Sublime™ – skin tightening
eTWO by Candela includes two handpieces (Sublime™ + Sublative™) which together provide complete facial rejuvenation, to achieve dermal remodeling and textural improvement at the same time
Sublime™
Combines infrared (IR) light and bi-polar radiofrequency (RF) energies to remodal the deep dermal layer of the skin by stimulating new collagen growth
The predictable heating of the deep dermis stimulates and shortens aged collagen fibers, resulting in immediate and longterm improvement of wrinkles
Sublative™
Fractionated bi-polar RF technology uses heat energy to encourage significant increases of collagen and elastin in the upper dermis, with low epidermal disruption
This means that the device is safe for darker skin types as it works at a targeted level of the epidermis
The energy is delivered through a matrix of pinpoint areas and the less affected tissue (i.e. healthy tissue) surrounding the matrix points may be stimulated by heat, which helps accelerate the healing process, leading to smoother, rejuvenated appearance of the skin
- Single Session – $330
- 3 session package – $880
GentleYAG Pro®

GentleYAG Pro is a LASER device by Candela that uses a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser which is optimal and safe for use in Skin Types IV-VI (i.e. skin types with higher levels of melanin)
Patented DCD™ (dynamic cooling device) provides consistent protection
Can be used for:
- unwanted hair
- vascular lesions
- diffuse redness
- leg veins
- pigmented lesions
- wrinkles
- onychomycosis (nail fungus)
- pseudofolliculitis barbae (razor bumps)
How does the laser work?
The laser creates a beam of high-intensity light that penetrates deeply into skin tissue, where it delivers a controlled amount of targeted therapeutic heat. Candela’s patented Dynamic Cooling Device™ (DCD™) technology protects the upper layers of your skin with a cooling burst of cryogen. Together, the long-pulse laser and DCD cooling offer optimal treatment with minimal side effects
What can I expect during treatment?
Treatment will take place in the office. You will wear safety eyewear to protect your eyes from the laser light. The laser is guided to treatment areas with a handpiece. Each laser pulse may be preceded and followed by a short pulse of cooling spray. Treatments can take as little as a few minutes to as long as an hour, depending on the area and condition being treated.
Does it hurt?
Some patients may feel a slight discomfort with each laser pulse, sometimes described like the snapping of a rubber band on the skin. This discomfort resolves quickly and is minimized by Candela’s DCD cooling. Please communicate your discomfort levels with your practitioner as this can help guide treatment settings.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on the treatment you require and the condition of your skin. For hair removal, multiple treatments are required, as the process is most effective when the hair follicle is in its active growth phase. Other conditions may clear up in only one treatment, but many factors impact the efficacy of individual laser treatments, including the severity of the condition being treated.
How do I prepare for treatment?
Patients scheduled for hair removal should avoid plucking, electrolysis, waxing, sugaring, and depilatories, for six weeks prior to treatment. If you have a history of herpes simplex virus, notify the provider prior to your laser procedure and discuss with your PCP regarding any need for prophylactic antiviral therapy. Your skin should be clean shaven and thoroughly cleansed and dried. Remove any makeup, creams, oils, or self-tanning products. Do not tan, use spray tans, or topical tanning products for at least two weeks prior to treatment. The intended treatment area should not be exposed to sunlight or tanning booth light for 14 days prior to treatment. Prevent sun damage by using sunblock (SPF 30 or above) before and after your laser procedure (and forever, thereafter).
What can I expect after treatment?
A cool compress, gel pack, or aloe vera gel, may be applied for comfort following your treatment. Any redness or swelling should resolve within a few hours.
What precautions should I take after treatment?
After laser treatment, prevent sun exposure by applying sunblock (SPF 30 or above). In the first few days after treatment, do not scrub or cleanse the treated areas with abrasive skin cleansers.
